So I cancelled my Shakeology subscription last week because I couldn't handle the thought of spending close to $100 on a protein shake. I had maybe 3 shakes randomly and when I get hungry or have the munchies, Shakeology is not the first thing I reach for (it's cookies!). Just because I have a bag left, I decided to have a shake during the time before my workout and guess what. I noticed it keeps me full for hours! I'm going to try this a few more times and if it continues to stave off my hunger pangs and my desire to eat , I may restart my subscription. I have the chocolate vegan flavor. I'm not sure if I would be a good judge on taste, because although I've had tons of whey shakes, I haven't tasted man vegan shakes. The ones I have tried have been a bit chalky also so maybe that's something we have to live with. I mix it with water only because I don't like thick protein shakes. If I do purchase it again, I would try the tropica...
My son has a track scholarship and hasn't been out running since we started the quarantine. So in an effort to help motivate him, I said we can go running today for 30 minutes. His 30 minutes would definitely take him a lot farther then mine would. Of course he dusted me so I only saw him for the first few seconds and the last few seconds of the run. I was so lopsided and couldn't pick up my legs. It was definitely a lot of work for me. He said he was a little rusty also, but he was able to do 3+ miles in the 30 minutes compared to my 1.75. I don't have any updates on the Shakeology yet. I haven't been making it regularly so I can't really tell if it's done anything for me yet. I have been doing the Beach Body workouts. I am starting Week 3 of 21 Day fix Real Time. I can't believe they consider that a beginner workout. It is a lot of work.
