Day of Cooking

Today was a lazy day for like me. I spent 90% of it on my couch.  I worked out this morning for maybe an hour.  30 minutes of a bodyweight workout of the day and 28 minutes of my Couch to 10k Android app. I decided to have a cheat meal of a McDonald's peppermint mocha coffee with whip cream,  which ended up being a bad decision because  now my belly is not happy.  I'm still following the Paleo diet as closely as I can.  I made sriracha tilapia and also made the same dish using shrimp  today and I'll post the link to the recipe as soon as I find it.

So want to know how my #RWRunStreak is going?  I can't seem to have a streak longer than 2 days! It's ok though,  I ran 5x this week which is more than I've ever done before. Part of the reason is I'm also strength training while running so my legs/body are  getting a little tired.

  1. The McDonalds mochas never agree with me either. Much too sweet compared to what I am used to.

It's Been A While

It's totally been a while!  I kind of forgot about this blog, then didn't renew my subscription to my old domain.  I tried to return a few times after that, but couldn't figure out how to get my old post back.  If I tried a little harder, I would have figured out all I had to do was redirect the website. Duh.  Well, I'm back at it and I may or may not have added 60 pounds since I last blogged. I can't remember exactly where I was at before Well, now I'm ready to live my best live in 2020.  Or it was going that way until, well we all know what is happening right now.  I stopped running back in 2014.  I went from a job where I sit on my butt all day, to one where I walk all day.  I wore ballet flats and in about 2 months, I managed to get plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, cramping arches, bad knees, hurting hip, and fibromyalgia. UGH!   So here I am trying to figure out the best way to workout.  I decided to blog again because o...

Beach Body & Shakeology

I cancelled my Planet Fitness membership yesterday because of the COVID.  My gym looks like they are taking the proper precautions, but I just don't want to risk it.  I signed up for Beachbody on demand for a year and planning on working out at home and outdoors for the year.  I've been vacationing in Maryland and haven't done much of anything except eat since I've been here.  I haven't been following weight watchers or a plant-based diet and my body is feeling it.  I ordered the Shakeology because there was a huge discount if you ordered at the same time as purchasing a subscription. I can't wait to try it based on the ingredients and how it's supposed to help your body.  I've read reviews, but not sure I can trust them because they all seem to be coming from Beachbody coaches so consider me as a real person who is giving an honest review and trying Shakeology for the first time.  I'm starting 21-Day Fix on Monday and will use Shak...

WOD - LLEDE FITNESS

So I found this iPad app called LLEDE FITNESS by lledescheduling llc and it's nothing fancy at all, but there is a daily workout that you can do. You can pick from beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Straight. To the point. No frills. I love it. Yesterday I did this workout: 3 Rounds Bench squats 25 30 walking lunges (weighted) jump squats 10 split squats 1 minute plank I can't walk.
